Is Redemption's newest citizen the aristocrat he appears to be or is he behind all of the town's new problems? I have been following George McVey's Redemption Tales series for several years now and have anxiously awaited this book. It did not disappoint. It offers many spiritual truths in a wild west setting. I never understood the conflict between Nathan and his father and this finally answers some of my questions. It shows a proud, opinionated man finally willing to humble himself and admit that he was wrong (this was one of my favorite scenes). We see spiritual growth as a result of obedience. Forgiveness is given even when no apologies are offered. There is a surprising reconciliation between siblings who we didn't even realize were related. There are new situations that won't be resolved until the next book is released in the fall. And once again, I can't wait.I do recommend reading the entire series as some segments of the story assume knowledge from the first four books.
I received an pdf form of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Redeeming Character Redemption Tales book five edition by George H McVey Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews
I didn't get very far. Rather than being a 'Christian Western' in feel, it felt more like horror, with scenes and descriptions of a crime scene that I would not continue putting in my head. Yes, the main characters were Christians, or supposed to be, but it was hard to get a feel for who was walking as a Christian should walk. I really regret even downloading it for free...
I really enjoyed all the books in this series and can't wait for the next one.
the story is great buy the print is all messed up and some pages are not finished and it skips to another scene, Feel I missing important parts
I've read all of the Redemption Tales.. They are very very good. I wanted to hurry to the end but at the same time didn't want them to end. You really feel like you know the characters!
this series deserves a five plus star rating. my husband has 4dif categories he puts finished bks in, good, favorite, great, greatest....very few make it to greatest and yours have made it in the greatest bks. bk 5 ended in a clif hanger and I will hang on til next one. God bless and pray that your health improves. thank you. BoJack
What a story, with many twists. My only problem now is the suspense while waiting for the next book. I have always loved a good western story, but especially this series with the blend of the gospel Pastor George puts in the stories. His books are not preachy, but he puts biblical quotes and the gospel message into the book when appropriate. I love it. Waiting for book six.
Religious talk, and the clean side of this book, are over rode with horrid murder descriptions. Flesh torn off the women, bloodless, breast chewed of. How a pastor can write such horrid, pure evil murders? There is a lot of violence, killing in this book, Sure hope it isn't in an Inspirational stories category, for it is anything but!!!
Pity cause it could have been written without that, for the other parts of the story is enjoyable.
