This was such sweet romance.The heroine has gone through hell. She saw her whole family exterminated by the prejudice of the time towards Native American's. The hero finds her and takes her home with him. The whole family was welcoming and caring towards the heroine. The H/h start develop feelings for each other. Things come to head when the heroine is put in a bad situation thanks to some people that just will not let go of their prejudice. The hero steps up and claims his woman!
This story is sweet, clean romance. There is some romance but nothing graphic. Highly recommend it.

I liked this book. Interesting, easy reading. Good reading on the beach or in your hamack, very relaxing, although not very believable.
I enjoyed this book. Early days of race disgrimination, between Indians and Americans. You would have had to be really brave in those days with mixed marriages.
Short story. But still good. Also tells the story of hate, love over coming the differencs between the white settzles
Nice short story but I wish the author had combined all three into a novel or longer story. She should be able to intertwine the three stories and make a great book! I would love to see that happen!
It was a well written book needing no imagination. The weather was the most exciting part of the story. The characters were, in my opinion, very predictable. I am not a good writer but a heavy duty reader and this book is just not a good read.
I have been unable to finish this book. The writing seems suited for juvenile readers -perhaps the 13 to 16 year old age group. The story just wasn't interesting. There were too many improbable happenings. Very bad spelling and grammar. I will not be reading the other books in this series.
I did not like this book. I guess I won't tell the end in case someone wants to buy it and read it. But I did not like the ending and will not read it again (which I am in the habit of doing). I don't know if I will buy another book written by this author.
